| 40 weeks baby! |
Welp, I'm glad that I'm not a gambling woman because my guesses of December 30th, January 6th, January 11th, and January 13th have all come and gone.
Which brings us to today...
My OFFICIAL due date!
(I'll keep this update short and sweet since not much has changed since last time.)
So, little baby girl is technically due today.
So, little baby girl is technically due today.
Will she be punctual? I highly doubt it. Fashionably late seems more her style.
However, she is definitely keeping us on our toes. As you might recall we had our false alarm this weekend.
Tricky, tricky, tricky little gal.

Tricky, tricky, tricky little gal.
Anyway, since then we saw the doc and set an induction date juuuuuuust in case our little gal decides to keep camping out.
In the meantime, I've just been busy sleeping and sleeping and sleeping some more.
I figure that since sleep is something that might be a distant memory here in the near future that I should enjoy it as much as I can for now. Plus, pregnancy insomnia has set in full force and I have my nights and days mixed up. Let's just say it isn't uncommon for me to stay in bed until 1:45 in the afternoon. However, if you pop on by around 2:30am you'll find me being extremely productive...it's just lovely. That's also when our little gal is taking her gymnastics class (at least that's what I assume is going on in there), so it just makes sense that I'm wide awake.
Let's see...what else is going on?
Well, I gave the blog a little facelift if you couldn't tell. After a year and a half of no change I figured it was time for an update. Who knows, I might be adventurous and reorganize my Pinterest boards this weekend. We'll just have to wait and see how wild I'm feeling.
Anything to pass the time until she makes her big debut!
Other than that, not much is happening around these parts. Ben and I have just been relaxing and enjoying our last nights as a family of 3 (Trudes makes up the third, of course). We've been staying busy in the evenings playing lots of Mario Kart, going to bed at ridiculously early hours (at least I attempt to), and I may or may not have convinced him to watch The Bachelor with me (oh the powers of the preggo!).
Anyway, it goes without saying that we're just beyond excited to our little baby girl. Not only is everything ready at home, but our hearts are just so ready for her to be here. Sometimes it seems surreal that she'll be in our arms before we know it.
I just can't wait until it's just the three of us and Trudes in our little home.
It's gonna be perfect.
Our sweet little family.
We're ready when you are baby girl and we can't wait!
Over and Out,
Kelly Jo
PS - For all of my fellow preggos out there, that top (and most of the long sleeved ones in my bump photos) is from Target. I got a bunch of them on clearance for $5 each at the very beginning of my pregnancy and they have been by far my favorite thing to wear. They're super comfy and have fit well during all trimesters. Even now they're not "stretched out" and they still keep the undercarriage under wraps. Anyway, I just wanted to pass the recommendation on for anyone that is shopping for maternity clothes!

You look amazing! Diggin' the new design, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the new design! I keep thinking each time I open your blog that there will be an "it's time post!" Soon enough!
ReplyDeleteBtw, a long while ago you directed me to a no-reply commenter post at Camp Patton, but since I use word press as my platform, I can't fix it. :( Hopefully blogger will eventually let the two platforms communicate via email.
Haha, I know! You think she'd be here by now. :o) Just keep your eyes peeled! It's going to be verrrrry soon :o)
DeleteBtw, I'm gonna have to write the people of Wordpress a strongly worded letter and tell them that their comment dealywhopper is just silly. It's about time they fix it!
Beautiful picture, and you are so teeeeeeeeny! I can't believe you're 40 weeks, you look great! :) Hope you're feeling as well as you can these last few days! Cute new design too.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that despite having some insomnia and very active little kicker inside you are enjoying these last days of pregnancy. Holding you and your little one in prayer!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see your blog updated in my Google Reader I get excited thinking your baby girl is here!
ReplyDeleteLove the new design! :)
I know, she's just holding out for the long haul! She's a stubborn little thing! There should be an announcement pretty soon though :o)
DeleteYou look so amazing!!! Your little lady is waiting it out! She is comfy in her Mama's belly! I cannot wait until the post where you're announcing her birth and I get to read her birth story (I stinkin love birth stories lol). I know you must be so excited and just itching for your sweet girl to get here!
